A poorer place

The world is a lot poorer place today.
I can only say, ‘thanks Steve’. Not only for giving us the most amazing, beautiful and revolutionary products on earth. But also for making Alex’s eyes shine with passion when talking about you and what you accomplished.
For showing the world that there’s no end to creativity, innovativeness and to what the human mind can achieve.
For inspiring millions of people from every city, town and village around the world, changing lives, and defining a new culture. For being “brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe you could change the world, and talented enough to do it”.
And especially for giving that inspiring speech at Stanford University in 2005—it changed my view of life and taught me something I can’t wait to teach my children.
I’ll tell them that we can’t connect the dots looking forward, we can only connect them looking backwards.
That we’ve got to find what we love and never lose faith in it, even when life hits us hard on the head with a brick.
That our time is limited, and we have to have the courage to follow our heart and intuition today, because tomorrow might be too late.
Finally, I wish to myself and to the people I love to always stay hungry and foolish, as you did.
